GameBoost

Introduction

GameBoost is an online gaming marketplace run by Global Gaming Services d.o.o., a Croatian company with an office in Zagreb. Rather than selling its own stock, it connects buyers with independent sellers who list game keys alongside gift cards, game accounts, in-game items, currency and boosting services. GameBoost acts as a commercial agent for those sellers, who are vetted before they can list offers.

The platform was founded in 2022 by Kristijan Salijević. It raised a pre-seed round from Fil Rouge Capital in 2022, followed in March 2023 by a seed round of about two million euros co-led by Fil Rouge Capital and Feelsgood. Game keys are one category among many on the site, which also covers services for multiplayer games such as League of Legends and Valorant.

Advantages

  • Sellers verified before listing
  • Revealed keys that fail can be refunded

Disadvantages

  • Sales are final by default
  • Refunds as store credit
  • Buyer protection costs extra

Buying on GameBoost

You buy from an individual seller through GameBoost's checkout, and an account is required; you must be at least 18, and GameBoost may ask for identity verification. Sales are final by default. A game key can be refunded if it has not been revealed and support accepts the reason, or if a revealed key turns out to be invalid, duplicated or not as listed.

Problems are raised with the seller in the order chat first, then through a support ticket. Valid defect claims fall under a 14-day warranty, and an optional lifetime warranty can be added at checkout for an extra charge. Refunds go to your GameBoost balance as store credit by default, or to the original payment method on request.
