Eneba

Introduction

Eneba is a digital marketplace for game keys, gift cards, top-ups and software. It launched in 2018 and was founded by Vytis Uogintas and Žygimantas Mikšta, who previously ran digital marketing businesses together in Kaunas, Lithuania. The site is operated by the Lithuanian company UAB Helis Play, registered in Vilnius, with a UK holding company, Eneba Holdings Limited, set up in London in 2019.

Eneba does not sell most products itself. Independent sellers, who must pass verification before listing, compete on price for each product, and the buyer chooses an offer. In late 2019 the company raised €2.5 million from the UK venture firm InReach Ventures, which was reported at the time as one of the largest early-stage investments of its kind in Lithuania. Eneba has more than 10 million registered users.

Advantages

  • Many competing sellers per product
  • No account needed to purchase
  • Sellers verified before listing
  • 14-day refund for unrevealed keys

Disadvantages

  • Service fee added at checkout
  • Refund terms vary by seller

Buying on Eneba

You pick a seller's offer and pay at checkout. The key then appears on the order page and in a confirmation email, and registered users also see it in their library. You don't need an account to buy. Eneba may add a service fee at checkout to cover support and processing costs. Using funds from an Eneba Wallet is an alternative to paying by card or PayPal.

Returns are limited to 14 days after purchase. Unrevealed keys can be refunded, but once a key has been revealed, Eneba only refunds it if it turns out to be invalid or already used. Return terms can also differ between sellers, so check the listing before you buy.
