Epic Games Store
Introducción
The Epic Games Store is the digital storefront run by Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite and the Unreal Engine. It opened to third-party games in December 2018, launching with titles such as Hades and Ashen, and has since grown to include releases from independent studios and large publishers alike. It is best known among PC players for its regular free game giveaways, which became weekly in 2019.
Games are tied to an Epic Games account and installed through the Epic Games Launcher on Windows and macOS, which also handles updates, cloud saves for supported titles and achievements. The store sells base games, DLC and in-game currency, and runs a rewards programme: purchases made with Epic's own payment system earn Epic Rewards, a percentage back that can be spent on later purchases.
Ventajas
- Regular free game giveaways
- Epic Rewards cashback on eligible purchases

Comprar en Epic Games Store
Games bought on the Epic Games Store are added to your Epic account immediately and installed through the launcher. For PC and Mac games marked as refundable, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, or of release for pre-orders, provided you have played for less than two hours. In-game items, virtual currency and subscriptions are generally not refundable.
Prices are shown in local currency with regional pricing. Epic does not require DRM on the games it sells; individual publishers decide whether to use it, so some games also require a separate publisher account or launcher in addition to the Epic Games Launcher. Check the store page for these requirements before buying.
