Battle.net

Einführung

Battle.net is Blizzard Entertainment's online service, store and launcher, home to games such as World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, StarCraft and Hearthstone. It first went live at the end of 1996 alongside the original Diablo and was one of the first online services built directly into games. Blizzard is part of Microsoft following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

The Battle.net desktop app, which entered open beta in 2013, handles purchases, installation, updates, friends lists and chat. It was briefly renamed the Blizzard App in 2017 before the Battle.net name returned. Besides Blizzard's own games, the shop carries Activision titles including several Call of Duty games, and has since added some other Xbox-published games.

Kaufen bei Battle.net

Games, expansions and in-game items bought from the Blizzard Shop or the Battle.net app are added directly to your Battle.net account. Blizzard's refund policy allows refunds of paid games and expansions within 14 days of purchase if you have played for no more than two hours, and most in-game items within 14 days if they have not been claimed, opened or used.

Refunds usually return to the original payment method, though Battle.net Balance may be issued instead. The policy covers only purchases made on Blizzard's own platforms, not retail or console stores, and does not apply in Korea, Japan or mainland China.
